It's Here! Alabeo's awesome new Waco Bi-Plane model for Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Lockheed Martin Prepar3D (P3D).
This is perhaps the most realistic and highest quality visual model of any aircraft ever produced for desktop flight simulators to date. Just take a look at the screenshots and we are sure you will agree!
The Waco YMF5 is a bi-plane built by the Waco Aircraft Company in America in the 1980's. Earlier models of the similar line were in production as early as the late 1920's. They were popular and useful for a variety of tasks including private use, civilian pilot training, and in agricultural roles.
The later produced YMF5 model as featured here is clearly designed for the private pilot, and exhibits a more modern styling and upgraded flight decks to house modern avionics, yet it still retains all the charm of classic bi-planes from the early years of aviation.
Alabeo's model is a fantastic representation of this aircraft, and we consider it an absolute must-have item for flight simmers. Like their C-188B Agtruck, this Waco YMF5 is a load of fun to fly, particularly in multiplayer, but even flying solo, you will be able to barn-storm, perform low-level manoeuvres, dive down into small valleys and thunder over tree-lined mountain tops.
If you need to re-fire your love for flight simulation, this aircraft will likely fuel that fire in a big way.
With a number of high resolution paint schemes included, and featuring all the flair of the very best FSX and P3D features available to designers, we here at PC Aviator Australia consider this aircraft to be almost perfect and it will make a great inclusion in your virtual hangar. Give it a go!
